Northern Lights Greyhound Adoption 14th Annual Picnic

It is that time of year again! The 14th annual NLGA Picnic planning has begun. Come join us! This picnic is for you and your hounds! It is to be a day filled with fun events, shopping, food, laughter and comradery!
NLGA is still in need of donations for the raffle and auction. This year we will also be doing memorial baskets. If you have a special pet, friend, or family member you can make up a basket of goodies in their honor. This is our biggest fund raiser of the year and we need your help to make it happen! We are still llooking for volunteers the day of our event. Allie, the official greyhound cat tester, would like to tell all those attending the picnic to please bring only your greyhounds, no other breeds please. Speaking from experience, Allie knows that not all pets get along with every greyhound. Allie is taking the day off, too! Thanks for understanding.
Food ~ Games ~ Contests ~ Costume Contest, where the competition is stiff and imaginations run wild! Put together your funniest, cutest, or craziest greyhound costume and take center stage for the judging. The audience will be the judges. Dress to impress!

Lots of Shopping! ~ One of the most anticipated activities at the NLGA Annual Picnic is shopping! This year will be no exception! We have put together a group of vendors who promise to have all of the latest in greyhoundwear and peoplewear. This is also your chance to refresh your NLGA wardrobe and add new items to it. You'll also be able to stock up on every greyhound related essential, including art, jewelry, books, the 2010 Celebrating Greyhounds calendar, and more.
